It seems Deep River and area residents hoping for high-speed Internet service by cable will be waiting up to another year.
Cogeco Connexion announced last year that it hoped to have service to cable customers in Deep River and Chalk River by this spring.
But in a statement to the NRT Monday, the company said the target is now spring 2023, and even that sounds uncertain.
“Our goal has been to begin upgrading residents by spring 2023; however, delays due to COVID-19 and other factors have set our (fibre) backbone timelines back,” the company said…
