Not everyone can say they’ve been to Paris, let alone travelled there as an Olympian.
But Kyle Tremblay sure can and, after narrowly missing out on a medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games, he’s back home in Deep River reflecting on the whirlwind past few months and looking forward to the future.
“It was really well thought out,” Tremblay told the NRT of the way organizers planned the layout of the Games.
“We expected a lot of cobblestones and inaccessible areas.”
That turned out not to be the case, and on top of that Tremblay couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop for his para-archery competitions.
“Where we were shooting was close to the Eiffel Tower,” he recalled. “It was a pretty iconic area of Paris”…
