MARCH 25, 1992: The cause of a fire that destroyed the Camelot Bakery on Highway 17 in Deep River last Friday morning is still under investigation, but police suspect it was connected to two break-ins in the vicinity that same night.
The fire broke out around 2 am and Deep River Fire Chief Jack Tooley said that by the time firefighters arrived, the interior was engulfed in flames. “There was little chance to save anything.”
