The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person who may be in the Deep River area.
OPS says Diego Sarria, 54, was last seen in the Kanata area on the afternoon of January 17, 2023, and is likely operating a red 2018 Volkswagen Atlas, bearing Ontario Licence Plate CVDZ486.
Police say Sarria may be in the Deep River area or elsewhere in the Upper Ottawa Valley. His family is “desperate” and concerned for his well-being.
OPS says Sarria is described as a light-skinned male, approximately 6’ (183cm), with a medium build, short brown hair and brown eyes. He speaks Spanish and English.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with “Canada Niagara Falls” written on the front, along with black sweatpants and white Puma sneakers.
Anyone with information about Sarria’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Missing Persons Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2355, between 8 am and 4 pm, daily.
