Laurentian Hills will not be implementing a mandatory Covid-19 vaccination policy for its council or staff.
The subject came up for brief discussion at last week’s meeting of town council.
The issue had been deferred from November, when it first arose in light of mandatory vaccine policies being implemented by other municipal bodies, such as the County of Renfrew.
Mayor Reinwald suggested at that time council should hold off on a decision until the matter was resolved first at the county level…
