Two hurt in ATV crash


Two people were hurt, one seriously, in an ATV rollover on Josie Lane late Friday night.

Police report that on April 23, 2021, at approximately 11 pm, officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle rollover collision involving an ATV on Josie Lane in the town of Laurentian Hills.

The 24-year-old driver and 26-year-old passenger were ejected from the ATV. Both were injured and taken to hospital by land ambulance.

The driver was transferred to an Ottawa-area hospital by ORNGE Air Ambulance with serious injuries. The passenger sustained minor injuries. 

Police say the investigation is continuing with the assistance of OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI).
