The North Renfrew Snowmobile Association (NRSA) was recognized Monday night with the Ottawa Valley Tourism Association’s “Business of Distinction” Award for 2019.
Nominees for the annual award are judged on a number of criteria, including having shown “clear commitment to the local tourism industry, with an emphasis on ‘collaborating to compete’.”
The nomination application form prepared by Deep River Mayor Sue D’Eon said of the NRSA that its volunteers “work tirelessly building their brand and forging partnerships with multiple organizations and businesses to out the Upper Ottawa Valley a the top of the snowmobiling tourist destination map.”
“Always looking to improve the experience, they must be doing something right because the customer surveys consistently indicate positive feedback.”
