Police looking for suspect after gas station robbed


The Deep River Police Service is seeking assistance from the public tonight in searching for a male suspect involved in a robbery at the Deep River Esso Gas Station.

The robbery took place on Saturday, October 9 after a male suspect entered the store between 6-6:05 pm, assaulted the employee and left. No weapons were involved.

Police say the male suspect was last seen leaving the Esso station on foot, heading north into town on Deep River Road.

The male is described as: 5’10” – 6’ tall, medium to large build with short dark hair, wearing a black hoodie with a zipper, dark grey sweatshirt, navy blue sweatpants and white “fuzzy” slippers.
